At-Home Medical Consultation Service Counter

Through the joint efforts of Community Comprehensive Support Centers, care managers and medical institutions, specialized consultation and support services are available to ensure that the elderly can continue living at home with peace of mind while using medical and nursing care services at home.

Silver Pass

In order to encourage residents who are 70 years of age or older to be an active part of society, a Tokyo Metropolitan Silver Pass is issued, allowing the holder to use the transportation system (streetcar, buses and subways) operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as well as private sector-managed bus systems in the Tokyo Metropolitan area.

Shibuya Lifelong Activity Network: Shibukatsu

This is a venue for opportunities that make use of experience and skills, and for learning new things, provided through the joint efforts of universities in Shibuya City and private companies so that residents can continue to enjoy being active.
Some who conduct volunteer activities in the city (or who plan to) can use this network.

This handbook is issued for physically disabled people who have a disability which is designated by the Law on Physically Disabled Persons’ Welfare.
With this handbook they can receive various types of support and use various programs.

Various welfare allowances and subsidies for medical care

There is a variety of allowances available such as welfare allowances for people with mental and physical disabilities, welfare allowances for severe mental and physical disabilities, special disability allowances/welfare allowances for disabled children.
Subsidies are also available for medical care costs.

Volunteer organizations

Social Welfare Conference

The Social Welfare Conference is a social welfare entity established for the purpose of promoting activities that benefit the community.
It works closely with Shibuya residents and various organizations in conducting a wide range of programs.

Volunteer Center

The center provides counseling and coordination for people who require volunteers or who would like to volunteer.
As a base for volunteer activities it also provides information and necessary equipment, in addition to holding various volunteer training courses.
