Community centers

There are five community centers in Shibuya, providing Japanese-style rooms, conference rooms, and assembly halls. There are fees for the use of the facilities, however these may be waived when the facilities will be used for purposes related to education or social welfare.
Community exchange centers

There are eleven community exchange centers in Shibuya City. Registered groups can use these facilities, which include rooms where residents can interact. The fees vary depending on the group. Registered members who live in Shibuya and are 60 years of age or older can use facilities for individual use—such as bathing rooms—free of charge.
City Resident Facilities

Shibuya has two city resident facilities. Registered groups can use these facilities (such as the multipurpose room or studio), with the fees vary depending on the group. Shibuya City residents sixty years of age or older can register to can use the facilities (such as the bathing area) free of charge.
Community centers for senior citizens

There are three community centers for senior citizens in Shibuya. Registered members who live in Shibuya and are 60 years of age or older can use these facilities free of charge.
Senior citizens’ centers

There are four senior citizens’ centers in Shibuya City. Registered groups can use these facilities—which include multipurpose rooms—free of charge. Registered members who live in Shibuya and are 60 years of age or older can also use facilities for individual use—such as bathing rooms—free of charge.
LINE CUBE SHIBUYA
(Shibuya Public Hall)
Equipped with audio equipment, an orchestra pit, and TV broadcasting capabilities, this facility is used for a variety of events and meetings. There are charges for use of the facilities.

Cultural Center Owada
This complex can be used as a center for various types of activities, such as culture, education, health and welfare activities. It has halls, a planetarium, and a learning center.

Workers’ Welfare Hall
This facility enables working people to relax and enjoy sports and other forms of recreation as well as club activities. There are meeting rooms, gymnasiums for table tennis, badminton, and volleyball, and training rooms. There is a charge for use of the facilities.

Refresh Hikawa
This Shibuya Waste Collection Plant’s facility is also civic hall, thus returning benefits to society. It was established with the purpose of developing the living environment of the surrounding area. With its meeting rooms and many functions, it is a perfect place for residents’ activities.

Youth halls

These free facilities are provided as locations where young people can enjoy group activities and recreation after school or on days off. Groups must register to use the facilities.
Social education centers

There are five social education centers. These facilities can be used for meetings pertaining to lifelong learning activities, study courses, and chorus practice. Groups must register to use the facilities.
