韓国・梨泰院での事故を受け、お悔やみ申し上げます。渋谷区でも、警察との調整をしておりますが、10月29日・30日の人出の状況を見て、同様の事故が起こることを危惧しております。

飲食や映画、ライブなどで渋谷を楽しみに来る方には通常通り渋谷を楽しんでいただきたいと思う一方で、本日ハロウィーンの仮装での練り歩きや撮影などを目的に渋谷へ来る方については、騒がない、立ち止まらないなどのルールを守っていただくことは当然として、来街を控えることもご検討いただくよう改めてお願いいたします。

また、以前に比べ、仮装する方は減少傾向にあります。外国の方も含め、ただ仮装を見に来るだけの野次馬的な目的での来街はお控えください。安全な渋谷のために、ご理解ご協力をお願いいたします。

【Message from Mayor of Shibuya City】A plea for the safe Halloween Night

We would like to express our deepest sympathies at the news of the accident in Itaewon, Seoul.
Shibuya City Office has been in cooperation with the police, and the crowdedness around Shibuya station on the weekend makes us worry that a similar accident might happen in Shibuya, too.
We would welcome visitors who come to Shibuya for dining and going to cinemas or concerts to enjoy as usual. But for those revelers dressed in Halloween costumes coming to Shibuya today for the purpose of parading about and taking photos, we ask you to observe the rules including not stopping while crossing roads. We urge you to reconsider even coming to Shibuya on 31st October.
The number of people putting on costumes is on the decline. Please, therefore, do not visit Shibuya just to see those who wear Halloween costumes.
Please co-operate us in order to keep Shibuya, a safe city.

서울 이태원에서 발생한 사고 소식에 깊은 애도를 표합니다.
시부야구에서도 경찰과 조정하고 있습니다만, 토요일과 일요일의 방문자의 상황을 보고, 같은 사고가 일어나는 것을 우려하고 있습니다.
음식이나 영화, 라이브 등으로 시부야를 즐기러 오는 분에 대해서는, 평소대로 시부야를 즐겨 주셨으면 합니다.
한편, 오늘 10월 31일 할로윈의 가장으로 도로를 돌아다니는 것과 촬영 등을 목적으로 시부야에 오는 분에 대해서는, 시끄럽지 않고, 멈추지 않는 등의 룰을 지켜주는 것은 당연히, 시부야에 오는 것 을 삼가는 것도 검토해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.
또한 이전에 비해 할로윈 가장하는 사람은 감소 경향이 있습니다.
외국인을 포함해 가장을 보러 오기만 하는 목적으로 시부야에 오는 것은 삼가해 주십시오.
안전한 시부야를 위해, 이해와 협력을 부탁드립니다.
